Origin won't go online/let me login after update

Hello!

So Origin just ran an update a few days ago, and directly after it went though I had no issues playing Sims 4 for a bit. Last night I went to play again and I got "Online login is currently unavailable" which has not happened to me since I got my desktop a year and a half ago. so I went through a couple of the troubleshooting tips they gave: I restarted Origin completely, checked my system date and time. Neither of those worked. I restarted my entire pc, that didn't work. I deleted my Sims 4 cache, that didn't work so then I decided to go ahead and uninstall and then reinstall the Origin client altogether. I did that and now not only am I getting "Online Login is currently unavailable" but now its telling me I need to be online the first time I login...when I am online.
Needless to say I'm pretty frustrated. Any help please? All I want to do is build a house :(

It looks like they know about the problem and are trying to fix it.

Well I'm relieved its not just me but ugh... frustrating.

Troubleshooting Tips:

1. Check to see if any connection issues have been reported.
2. Restart your computer
3. Delete Origin cache
