How much gb should,I have to run The Sims 3?

I currently have 582GB on my C hardrive,is that too high to run The Sims 3,I have the base game installed plus Generations,and Seasons,I have been noticing my game has freezing a lot during the game play even more when I was recording is that down to high gb on my C hard drive.

I'm moving this to Technical Help. Anyways having "too much" space isn't really an issue and the opposite can cause computer lag instead (because a drive without a lot of free space struggles to find room for new data).
