The Lonely Hearts Club Band: A Beatles-Inspired Household
« on: September 06, 2019, 04:20:04 PM »

I made a CC-free household of misfits inspired by the music of The Beatles.
They are the murderous, silver hammer wielding mad doctor Maxwell Edison, lonely church-going older lady Eleanor Rigby, free-wheeling nature lover Strawberry Fields, the shy and reclusive Prudence, and the nervous yet hopeful geeky romantic Jude.
Their preferred residence is a yellow submarine.

To compliment my first CC-free Beatles-inspired creation, I give you the Apple Scruffs!

This extra trio is made up of miserly Mean Mr. Mustard, his shop worker sister Polythene Pam, and Lovely Rita the Meter Maid.

I probably need a break from Beatles music. I re-listened to Maxwell's Silver Hammer, and felt compelled to create Rose and Valerie (the ones who start "screaming from the gallery" during Maxwell's trial).

I envisioned Rose as a caring, "fluffy bunny" type, whilst Valerie was more of a punky villainess.
