How do I get my Sims to visit a spa?

In Sims 3, all I had to do was go to the map and click on the spa. In Sims 4 there is no map and no apparent command in the game. I set up a spa on a vacant lot but how do I get my Sims to visit it?

You have to place the venue in a world. Have your Sim travel to that world and then to the spa. Or you might be able to travel directly to it.

If you haven't placed it yet, it can be found in your "My Library" tab.

  ???Perhaps I wasn't clear. I already placed the spa in the same world as my Sims' home. How do they travel there? If they're teleported, how do I initiate the teleport? This is all new to me and I don't understand the mechanics of travel in Sims 4.

You can travel to a destination a few different ways. Easiest way I've found is to scroll out with the mouse till you see the magnifying glass.

With the spa being in the same town as your Sim, mouse over the place you want to send your Sim to, click on it, then click the airplane icon to confirm.
