Great to see Rosa and Alec again.
Alec looks a little sad playing chess. Is that because Rosa is off socializing and collecting donations?
Looking at your Connections restrictions, it seems you will have (some of) your sims join multiple careers? Or does "Level 5 in another career" refer to Scouting?
After going the multi-career route in my legacy challenge, I'm happy to have my Belmodo settlers max one career than quite and earn income at home.
That's one lovely house and very different from their previous one. Did they change lots, too?
Looks like Cameron had a birthday! Looking forward to seeing him again as a child!
LOL, I must have been subconsciously been thinking of my youngest grandchild. This kid's name is CONNOR. I can't believe I wrote Cameron in the post!
As far as careers go, some Sims may enter careers that are unlocked while waiting for their preferred career to open up. In that case, if they work the first career until Level 5, they will be able to use Connections to get a head start on their preferred careers. I'm not counting Scouts as a career for this requirement, only full-time, adult careers.
Yes, they did change lots. I think it's Springscape.
Wow, you have a banking system in your world. I never even considered such a thing and really don't think I'd be up to trying it. That's pretty awesome.
Yes, since I don't want to add on to existing houses, I needed to come up with a way for Sims to be able to move before they actually saved up the full price of a lot. When they move, I turn on the free real estate cheat and then deduct the down payment from their funds. Every week, they will pay a part of their loan that is not less than 5% of what they borrowed. For Rosa and Alec, that's about $1400, on top of their bills and taxes. I just added another sheet to the spreadsheet for keeping track of mortgages.
Thanks for reading and commenting! I'm scrambling around here to finish two more books before the end of the month, but I'm going to try to get caught up on your stories in the next day or two.
