Mummy Adventures
« on: December 13, 2009, 05:43:37 PM »
My newer character that I've been playing, Audrey, has the "brave" trait and today was the first time she has encountered mummies. I thought it was pretty funny! Way different than my last mummy experience. This was all in the Tomb of Jean Netreaux.

Hey guys.....wassup??

I'm glad to see some friendly faces! It was getting kinda lonely down here. (notice her happy face moodlet)

So how long have you guys been down here? (they were having some sort of discussion)

Dude! When was the last time you changed that diaper rag?  LOL

Anyway, so then these two mummies completely left her alone after checking her out...they laughed about something and then each went back into their sarcophaguses. (is that how you spell it?)

Then she goes into another room and encounters a couple more mummies.

Rawr yourself.....you're going to have to do better than that.

Somebody get this guy a tictac.

Yeah, yeah....whatever you say. You're not scaring me.

So then this mummy cracks up laughing and he also goes back into his sarcophagus and doesn't bother her at all. Then another mummy comes out and same thing....she wasn't afraid at all. On that one, I decided to do the "trigger age transition" thing and turn him into a ghost mummy so I could get some pictures. I forgot to do screenshots though. If I can figure out how to get access to my sim's pictures, I will post some later.

Yes.....these are in the tomb under the Nectary....the Jean Netreaux tomb. If you go down under the Nectary.....there are actually two tombs down there. The one on the right is the Tomb of Iseal and the one of the left is Jean's tomb.

This has been my favorite tomb so far. I am in awe of the person who designed it! It's very well done.

Yep, this tomb is full of them! I haven't done the Tomb of Iseal yet, on the left side...but plan to do it tonight. I'll let you all know if I find anything interesting. :)

One bad thing though.....I noticed that you can't buy mummy snacks in France, so it's good to stock up heavily when you're in Egypt.

Oh yeah, forgot to say...there are also quite a few mummies in China too. When you are doing the Dong Huo adventure......not the one where you're getting the key, but the one where you actually have to go all the way into the Dragon Cave to lock Dong Huo down there for all eternity....there are a bunch of mummies down there too in addition to the Dong Huo mummy.

I LOVE this post!! Awesome RockinRobin! My fav is the tic tac pic!! HAHA!! ;D

I love it when people put screenshots in hehe

Good to know about mummies outside of egypt! I have yet to encounter a mummy anywhere else, and I've had Harrison do several tombs in France. Interesting. Thanks for the heads up!
I will love him and squeeze him and pet him and call him George!!

LOL Thanks Bogie. I hope others will be inspired to post about their mummy adventures here too. I also love seeing screen shots of things that happen to other people's sims. It always cracks me up!

Update on the Tomb of Iseal......it's a combined tomb with Jean Netreaux's....which I had kinda thought the other day when I had a different sim doing it...but then today, I noticed a separate entrance so I thought maybe they were two separate tombs....but they're not. It's a MASSIVE tomb though! It has a lot of nooks and crannies and surprises and you really DO have to be on your toes throughout this one. My sim got electrocuted 5 times in there today....even though I knew there were traps and was being extremely careful! Like I said....I am in awe of whoever designed that tomb because it's totally awesome.

More mummy adventures!

This is in Egypt and is actually the FIRST mummy I've encountered there. All the others have been in France or China. It appears that my sim just is not bothered by mummies at all. It's quite comical to watch. This time I got the bright idea to have her sing, "Oh Where is My Mummy" to the mummy....that was pretty funny to see her break out in song!! LOL

I think the mummy liked her song and she seemed pleased with herself.

"Hey baby.....you workout?? You are SO fine."

Wow...she finally KINDA got attacked by a mummy! This mummy wasn't too friendly like the others she's met so far. She tried singing to him and it just made him mad. He kinda yelled at her and that's when she put her head down...but then he just threw up his arms and went back into his sarcophagus and they never actually fought. Weird! Luckily, she did not get a curse either. I guess she was getting a little too confident with all the mummies she's met lately.

This was also in Egypt.
