I had to restart my game after accidentally killing my sim upon her return from university (oops!!)

You killed your Sim? How? (checked the pic) Oops, she's a vampire who you let roam outside and she burned to death. *sigh* Simmers.  ;D

Killed her by forgetting about her outside in the cold with no warm clothing on, just the summer gear she returned from University in. She's actually Half Human, Half Witch.. though I guess in the game she's full witch. Her great grandfather and the male line from there were all vampires, hence her pale complexion.

Dorm living is horrid if you don't pre-edit, use cheats and/or mod them, that is unless your sim is a vampire or caster. Beds are not ideal so positive buffs aren't coming from them, in fact I got a few uncomfortable moodlets  from them. Unless your sim came with enough money for a microwave and fridge you have to rely on scrounging for food or endure countless loading screens to eat. And worse if you can't afford a laptop yet more loading screens to write/edit papers and to study as forms don't come equipped with anyway to do those things. Playing a poor starving student living in a dorm is quite a challenge. I love it. Most basic buffs aren't available. Meeting needs can be a challenge. And finding time to study, raise money, do homework, write papers, and prep presentations in a dorm is challenging and I love it.

I never edited the dorms, but I do have cheats on, so I can just quickly cheat any needs, so I could speed through some of the tasks while others slept.

@oshizu  Yes, she graduated with a B- as her final grade from uni, and joined the law career at level 5, The uni side is a little tedious with some of the stuff you have to do and the hours to submit stuff in (I like to get everything done and submitted at random hours). Not sure on the career outfits yet, reality sadly caused a ton of disasters so the game has been on hold for a few months.

Clothes didn't change for either level and for doing the tedious degree, you do level faster, I think Jenny spent a day or two on each level before a promotion even without doing the daily task.

I base the levelling faster on doing two sims, one with a degree, one without, different careers, but the one without the degree is only at level 6, whereas Jenny who has the degree is at level 10, both started their careers on the same day, practically the same skills, bonuses etc, just Jenny had a degree and the other didn't.

I think I will do the Judge branch of the Law, to see what differences there are... maybe in a generation or two, I'm just curious about the other degrees at the moment and not sure what degree I will do next, maybe something at Foxbury since I have done Law, Art History and Culinary Arts with different sims at Britchester.
