Leaving Karaoke Lot

I have a bit of a problem and I'm not sure where to post this so I'm posting it here. Anyway, I sent my teen girl w/a date to the Karaoke club/festival and now she can't go home. Every time I click on her to go home, it is grayed out saying that an social event is going on. I had her disband the group, but still can't go home.   How do I cancel this event? The "festival" is done and closed now. She is about to collapse from fatigue and needs to get home and get to sleep, lol. Thanks!

This sounds somewhat familiar. With the festival being over, did you try traveling to a different lot, then from that lot try traveling home?  Maybe trying the M key to see if that will allow the Sim to travel?

If you're able to get your Sim home, clear out their inventory, as it seems there may be an issue with having stuff in the Sims inventory and traveling.

I tried all of that and in the end, I had to have her sing a solo karaoke. I guess going there w/her young man so far friend and singing a duet didn't count. : /  Once the solo karaoke was done, she was able to go home. I also used the "make happy" need cheat on her.

Funny bug. tbh someone would need to hold me hostage as well before I ever sang karaoke lol. Glad you manged to find a work-around though, must have been frustrating at the time.

Hi Play, I just now saw this. Yes, it was frustrating at the time. I couldn't figure out what was going on until I had her sing a solo. EA seriously messed up on the definition there. It should read "sing a solo karaoke" and not just "sing karaoke." Well, one more lesson learned.
