Solved - BUG Disappearing Inventory

My Sim has graduated and is living on his own.  He went to his mentor's house to pick vegetables for his new home and once he arrived home they were no longer in his inventory.  Same thing happened when he bought vegetables from the stall.  Is there a fix?

This is not a Discover University bug as you can read in this thread here: click and if you have updated your game to the last patch 1.59.73.1020 patch, the issue was resolved.
