Computer Specs?

hello i was given a computer by my sister who just got a new gaming system and i wanted to know if it would play the sims 4+all dlc's to date.
she hasnt played the sims 4 on the system so i'm not sure if it would work properly.
the specs are
amd fx 6300(3.5 ghz)
amd radeon rx 460(2 gb)(gddr5)
16 gb dual channel ram(1600 mhz)
1 tb 7200 rpm hard drive(64 mb cache)
do you think those specs would survive the whole game as more gets added to it?
what graphic settings do you recommend i play on and what resolution would be best?

It should work fine for what has been released so far on med to high settings. As for future content, it should be able to handle it. However keep in mind the game is still being actively developed and any major updates to the game's core could change the specifications.

1920x1080 resolution should work fine.

i just got everything installed and it defaulted to ultra settings using 1366x768 aspect ratio
should i lower it to high?

See how the game plays on the settings it defaults to, if it starts to struggle, the try lowering the graphic settings.
