PI Career - "The Bad Call" Case

Hi, I"m having trouble w/the stake out at the park section of this. I've had my sim try three different locations at the park and he just isn't finding anything. Does anybody have a clue where to look?

I can't remember if I got this particular case when I played the PI career, but do remember a little trick for the stakeouts. 

I don't think it matters where in the park you go to do the stakeout, however you do want to leave room for the action to take place. Or else the game says something like There's nothing going on here.

I had that happen a few times at the library. If needed, you can cancel the case. It will more than likely come back up later in the career.

There was a case I had to cancel, because I couldn't do the 2nd to last step of the case. The specific case came back up and I was able to complete it.

This is at performance Park in Riverview. I'll give it one more shot and if it fails, I'll cancel it.

I did have to cancel that case. Even the 4th try failed. : /

Each time you got the case was the stakeout always at performance park? If so, maybe try to delete it and replace it to see if it's the venue (?) that has glitched? Or maybe try without the venue?

Or do you feel it's the particular case that is glitched?

I dimly recall that a PI case I had at the Performance Park which required me to stake it out had issues and wouldn't complete for me.

I haven't had such troubles elsewhere with stakeouts. The Showtime EP came out later than Ambitions, I believe, so maybe its something to do with the coding between that career and the Performance Park.

When I start games I usually take out the bar and park venues from Showtime and Late Night.

I didn't have any problems with most of the stakeouts either.
