Market vendors

I recently purchased Jungle Adventure and am wondering how long it takes the market stall vendors to show up?  I'm pretty sure it's not bugged as they do show up and sell stuff, but I want my sim to get out in the jungle but want to get some supplies first.  Is it just a matter of hanging around and waiting?

Pretty much. Be aware, though, that frequently the Sim that is going to fill the vendor role might be just hanging out in the Cantina when your Sim gets there. If you start talking to them right away, it will keep them from going to be a vendor. I've also found it's good to get to the Cantina at around 9AM and a vendor usually shows up pretty soon after I get there. Afternoons seem to take the longest, at least in my game.

Thanks, he was chatting to a lot of the people in the cantina, so that might have been the issue.
