User error, Bug or By design?

I've only started playing with Seasons a few days ago. I have some plants that seem to need water or weeding. They're turning brown, but I don't have the option to care for them. Is this normal for Seasons? Is it just a graphical issue? I've tried repairing the game and clearing cache, but it's the same.

That's normal. They tend to change color when a new season is approaching or just with weather like when real plants start to brown. Nothing wrong with them. Its probably not their peak season so they aren't as green and lush.
