Finding the townie and how to make him move in

Hello, I need some help please.

I built a house and I would like to move one of the townie in so after that I can play him as he would be my 'own sim'. The problem I am facing is that he is not living nowhere or at least I could not find his home in the world or map but he works at the Old Quarter Inn and if my sims call him up he is comes to my sims house to chat and so on.

How can I catch him and make him move in into the empty house? Please any help or tips would be so good. I want that guy, he is part of my sims story I write I must have him to interact with my sims on the regular basis.

Go to edit world and household management and select unplayed sims and see if he's listed there.

Alternatively, move him in with a played sim using the friendly social then move him out again using the telephone 'move' interaction or manage worlds> household management.

thank you so much both of you yes he was in the unplayed list and now happily lives in his brand new loft and I could not be happier than I can play him as my own
