Trouble signing in in-game

Hey guys,

I'm logged out of my Sims 3 store account and can't seem to get in, in-game. I type in my email and my (correct! I've checked) password, and no dice logging in. I tried logging into the store and Origin and both worked successfully. Has anyone encountered this issue before, and if so how did you fix it?

This appears to be an on-going issue for some. It's an issue on EA's side.

Suggested things to try:

Clear IE's cache or reset it

Clear Internet Explorer Cache and Reset IE

If there is a file with your email address as a file name. For example: Myemail.com.bin It can be deleted.

I've gotten it to work by brute force, copying my password and repeatedly attempting to sign in until it works. It works in as little as 3 tries or as many as 20.
