How do you change agents?
« on: November 19, 2018, 03:20:53 PM »
So how do you change agents?  I have honestly looked around and can't figure it out.

Is there any advantage to one agent over the other?

Thanks for your help

I really don't know about the media skill agents sims can use. I guess you could just not complete a new music track or whatever in the due time (which for my sim is 3 days) and let the agency drop you. Then pick another to sign up with.

As for the acting agents you can use your sims phone and under the work tab (envelope) you can click 'Hire a New Acting Agency'. You can do this interaction so you can see the agency picker menu and read each agency description and then just cancel the action.

I have no clue if one agency is 'better' than another but they do have different descriptions as to what they 'do' for your sim.

I tried the first one, I think it's A-1 or something.  Lots of auditions but BOY do they have an attitude!  You are NEVER good enough even when you consistently take gold.  It's like they really don't want to pay you what you are worth.  I thinking of trying another agent!  My poor Sims feelings, (ego) is hurt.  lol

My favourite agency is the grandma one. They send you flowers when you do well and cookies(?) if you fail an audition. They're good for TV, if I recall.

My top-level actress sim is with the Well Suited Talent Agency, which is better for movies and gets you more pay. They're very complimentary towards your sim if you do a good job. I don't know what they're like if you don't do well, though, and they're only available to higher-level actors.

Every time  I try to sign my sims up for a talent agency, it's just blank.  Is anyone else having this problem?:-\

It all seems normal in my game @lesliedaryl  maybe try deleting your localthumbcache.package file from your Sims4 folder and see if that helps.
