Child of my SuperSim getting super traits for free?

I've been playing this SuperSim file for a while now, but I only just noticed that her latest child has spontaneously manifested "steel bladder" and "never weary". I did not buy these traits for the child I only noticed them when the child aged up from toddler, but the toddler did earn "top-notch toddler" is that why they get super traits for free? Just a little curious if someone else had this too.

Haven't heard of that happening except if you have taken the family into cas with the cheat cas.fulleditmode on while having a different aspiration selected (other than the one you chose when they aged up).  If you have this cheat enabled and have any other aspiration selected, on exiting cas your sim will often have been given the related bonus trait. You can remove any traits with this cheat: traits.remove_trait <traitnameNoSpaces>
