I have looked everywhere for the after school activity explanation and can't find it. This isn't my first child sim but I never used it before as in Sims 3 there wasn't much offered to after school stuff, other than taking up my time with my sims. HOWEVER, I stumbled across a video from Carl talking about a super sim:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6e6idQ7cLLQ and here he mentions scouting used to increase skills. When I went to sign up my sim with after school I saw there are two options, like sims 3. However, I find no mention of the two or their comparison. In sims 3 there was ballet and you got ballet moves, here we have drama club. Does it give acting skills the way scouting gave fishing in sims 3? And does scouts still give fishing? In that video it was implied that scouting gave a bonus to learning skills.
Sorry, I am rambling.
