Smaller worlds in sims 4

Ive noticed the worlds in sims 4 are very small and theres maybe 2 or 3 empty lot spaces to build on with no space to add more empty lots. is there any way to expand so i can put more lots like in sims 3?

Sims 4 wasn't made to be able to add your own customized sized lots to the worlds.

Do you have the Newcrest neighborhood? That adds 15 lots to your game.

@crunchies4me Unfortunately, Sims 4 is not nearly as customization as some other sim games of the past. The lots you see are the lots you get. Want something in you game, if you can't find a empty lot the size your looking for to build it, you will have to tear something down to build it.
