Flags!!

Hi everyone,

Each time I go to play my current household, each level of the house from the foundations upwards has yellow, orange and red flags around it. The flags only appear once I've saved the game, turned off the game, then gone to play it again. I can't remove them, tried removing walls the replacing them etc but the flags won't go. I can't click on them to pick them up. I have all of the expansion packs and most of the game packs too (don't know if that changes anything). I've just this minute gone to a household I don't normally play and they don't have the flags. I then saved the game and went back into that family and once again no flags so why does it happen with the family I want to play? I think it may be a bug but can't seem to work it out. I play on a MAC if that means anything.

I'm no Seasons expert, but it looks like that house's flags and hedge decorations are related to a holiday.
That is, the house is wearing holiday decorations.
Have you checked your household's calendar?

When you are actively playing a household you can place down the 'The Attic Stack Decoration Box" and then remove or even replace those everyday decorations.

Houses that are not currently being played, with Seasons installed, will get decorated by the game.

Thank you so much for your replies! The flags appear all year round and when I get the attic stack decoration box and try to remove the decorations again they don't go anywhere. I don't know if perhaps it's more to do with a problem with the foundations?

I've noticed a weird lag with this feature at times. I tried multiple times to remove all the decorations of my sims house however it took until the next time I loaded my game for the decorations to be removed. So try removing them all and then saving, quitting and restarting your game, might work for you too.

Okay, sorry for bring this thread back up, but I can not remove any of the outside Winterfest Decorations from my sims house. When I click on the Attic box, I do not have anything that says "remove decorations" or anything? HELP?

I've tried everything. Even the stuff Mrs.Flynn told me in Pm. I have disabled all mods, CC, and script mods. Nothing, the last save I have that it worked was from 07/31.

Hmm, I had her go in and change the decoration to a different one, then "reset deco" and it all came down. *slumps in a chair and sighs in relief*
