Thought bubble but no Sim

Some neighbors came to visit and while I could see their thought bubbles they had no body.  Later, when chatting with a Sim, in a body, there was no icon in my queue and no thought bubble.  Think it's a glitch and/or bug.  Need to "repair game" and forgot how.

OK open Origin Go to "My Game Library". right click on The Sims 4, Select repair in the menu and it will repair the game. Hope it works. Glitches and bugs are common in the game and some times repairing the game works and sometimes other steps are needed. Let us know if that works if not I have other ideas on what could work.

To repair game, save/exit your game to return to Origin.
Once you're back in Origin, click on Sims 4 in your Game Library to select it.
Right-click your Sims 4 icon and you'll get a list of options. Select "Repair."

Thank you both!  At that point my game was totally frozen up.  I could not even exit it and had to use ctrl. alt. delete to end the program.  I hard booted and that cleared up whatever the problem was.  Thanks for telling me how to get to repair game!  I've forgotten so much.
