Aura stuff not working ? Solved

I have inspired lights everywhere, no matter, my Sim insists on being Confident.  Fed her Prose and Pop, no difference.  Had her cloud gaze, not difference.  Even things like Mathematical paintings don't seem to have an effect.  Is this a bug or just a new change like the mess they made of gardening?

I've had no problem lately with mood-boosting career rewards, math diagrams, bath soaks, and incense lately.  Cloud/stargazing also works.
It might be your particular save file needs repair?

How do you repair the save file?  You might be right.  Cloud gazing ALWAYS worked and now it doesn't neither do the drinks, (except for Cupid Juice making Patchy romantic.), the soaks or anything else.  Of course I've had the game running non-stop for two days so maybe just need a reboot.

To repair a game, go to your Origin Game Library and pick The Sims 4.
Right-click The Sims 4 icon that displays and you should see 8 options, including "Repair."
(Don't forget to delete your localthumbpackage (or whatever it's called) file and the file in your Cache-Str folder first.
 Yeah, running the game continuously for awhile might be the problem.
I've actually been repairing my game before each gameplay session, whether I'm playing a Sims 4 folder with cc/mods or no.
Hope rebooting and/or repair works for you.

Thank you, oshizu!  It worked.  Did the repair game, did a pc cleanup with PCMatic, (marvelous thing!), and did a reboot so all is working wonderfully well now.
