Installing Late Night

I've bought the Late Night EP, when i try to install it,it says: This product requires the sims 3.Please,install the sims 3.
BUT i have installed the sims 3 and it works perfectly fine
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, but it still like that
What should i do so that i can install Late Night  ??

I'm so sorry nobody responded to your question.  I'm sure it's too late now and you've already resolved the issue.  My only suggestion would have been to reinstall Sims 3 again.
