Refurbish npc houses

Hello.

I can edit ’Townies’ but is there any way I can refurbish their houses, garden? The furnitures and decorations need rewamp badly.

Yes there is. While on the lot you wish to update.

First press shift+control+C  to bring up the console.

Then enter

testingcheats on

After that enter

bb.enablefreebuild

At that point you should be able to do edit said lot.

You can also do this from the map view by clicking on the lot and then the build button down the bottom right of your screen.

I suppose, you could also transfer them to another house, then edit their original house. Then, you could use the manager, to move them back in.

Personally, I usually"refurbish" a house, by playing the family. That way, the house gets a distinctive evolution & the family evolves too. Unplayed Sims, are virtual infants.

Awesome! Glad you're having fun. I love refurbishing the townies houses, it's always been one of my most fav things to do in the Sims series.
