A Glitch Related to The Criminal Career
« on: May 07, 2018, 12:07:49 AM »
Hi, I discovered a new (I assume) glitch related to the promotion after midnight one associated w/the criminal career. My sim was promoted after midnight and instead of having to work on his day off, the game said that his work would resume in 1 day 11 hours, but when the time came when he would normally start work, it went from 1 day to 2 days, totally skipping a normal work day. He got paid for time off thankfully.

I've had this or something similar happen with my Sims' job before. It stated that they had to go to work this day, and try to send them to work, but it states they didn't have to go to work that day or something like that. Even though it was their normal work schedule. It fixed itself the next day and still got paid.

I'm not sure why this happens, but at least it's not game-breaking.

As I said, I think it's either related or a part of the promotion after midnight bug. He had just gotten promoted. Topped his career in one night though (he was already at lev 9)!

Hmm.. I'm wondering if it only happens to Sims that have high level in their career?

It's happened only a few times in my games and it always seems to happen when the Sim has a high level in their career.

That very well could be. I've never had it happen before.
