So for some reason, my TS3 decided to barf today and I couldn't get any of my saves to load, nor could I even start a new game...with or without CC. I haven't added anything new in months, and I played fine yesterday.
I have run a 3tb external hard drive for years, and do regular mirror images of both my desktop and my laptop, and today is the perfect reason why.
A mere 22 minutes out of my day, and I've restored my entire Electronic Arts folder from my external drive back into my Documents, which holds all my TS3 and 4 stuff, as well as my Create A World, and I'm back up and running with zero issues.
Best $100 bucks I ever spent!
