Father Winter's Alien. 2019 Festive Special.
« on: December 25, 2019, 03:17:20 AM »
Perhaps my most interesting sim.

The toddler in this picture. Lara is a pure alien, Sulani Mana, and Father Winter's Baby. (I changed her to green, she was born in the shocking blue tone of her mother.)

-----

And her mother is Cleo Waugh. This Cleo:

-- her dad pregnant with her, by abduction

-- when she was born. Cleopatra was born an alien with Sulani Mana. As exciting as that is, she grew up off-stage, while another sim, Lyric, the spellcaster you'll see next (hard to miss, she's the one casting a spell) was at university. Because I wanted to try out university. When I got back, Cleo was nearly an young adult.

And so, one evening, Father Winter was invited over.

Lyric cast the Rite of Ascension on Father Winter to turn him into a spellcaster, and then double checked to see if he still has his position at the Far North. He did.

Then Cleo, pure alien with Sulani Mana, got acquainted with Father Winter. An alien + spellcaster union cannot produce hybrids. The child will either be alien, or a spellcaster.

If you look in the bottom right of the above, though it is dark and in the background, Lara's traits are visible. So this is entirely possible, no cheating required. Just a bit of patience or luck. Pure alien, yet also doubly magical from being descended both from island spirits and Father Winter.

Happy Winterfest to anyone who reads this. But if you're a week late then, sure, I obviously hope today is fine too.

Lara is still a child. (I've been with my dynasty save more.) This is a house I might well build (but improve upon) in that save. I won't, however, be able to create another Lara because Hobart is a guy, and he can't have a baby with Father Winter. So in my pantheon of sims, Lara is unique and might always remain so. A Winterfest miracle! I'll probably add at least one more post to this, perhaps around New Year. She is my super sim who must excel at everything.
It is a little thing of my own. I call it "Heart Foam". I shall not publish it. Farewell! Patience, Patience, farewell!

Father Winter's Alien. Part 2.

The Lucky Alien Rare Supersim (or LARS -- I wanted to make an acronym for Lara, but it didn't work out): Part 2.

-----

I think if I was trying for another LARS, I'd definitely do fertility massages etc. Anything to boost the chance of multiples. It's 50% each time. A coin toss. I just got lucky Lara was an alien. I've not seen any other such sim, she's the 0.001%, and that's why I'm sharing it and raising this special Winterfest delivery as well as I can. I'd love to see someone else's LARS if you make one!

Yes, that's a beauty shot of the dining room, but if you look carefully you'll see a small green sim eating Pho. Pho is what you want for both Spice Hound and Chopstick Savvy. And Lara is is going to stack all the traits she can.

Childhood:

Lara and her mum Cleo. You won't see much more of her. I don't like her blue, and she was just a stepping stone. She was renamed Cleo Pancakes and moved to the Pancakes house, now empty.

Childhood cont'd:

I had an urge for another basement skating rink. It's that simple! :) One of the other sims popped a skating whim in winter, and this is the result.

Some of the family.

That's Lara's grandfather, James. He's an immortal spellcaster, moved to Windenburg. Across from him is my ever-present Sims 4 sim Lyric, who is James' grandmother. She was a street rescue back in 2015. Overweight, silly hat. No hair. I had to give her a makeover, and she's stayed. I think it's her name. If she wasn't called Lyric, would she have stuck around? I've only seen the game generate that name one other time.

7 days to aging up. Lara has completed all 4 child aspirations, she collects her final scouting badge, gets the gold scout trait, and uses her phone to quit scouts and go into drama.

That's Lyric giving Darling Walsh a potion. There is a side plot to raising a Supersim, and it's is preparing a male sim with Strong Bloodline as a spouse for Lara. This should result in a child with Ancient Bloodline, and Sulani Mana, on a 50% alien. And a sim that can suntan and do Beach Life? Will that work? As a pure alien, Lara is locked out from that aspiration and trait. So that explains Miss Walsh. Darling will join the house and do the body builder career, and if she turns into the hulk, do we mind? But I do like unlocking the gym equipment from the athletic careers. It's the best looking.

-----

A quick house show.

This was built in 2015, closely patterned on a Sim 3 University dorm because I didn't know how to build a house and that was my best reference point. It predates basements and pools. I used this save to test Discover University. Lyric was my lab rat as much as the house was. There were two staircases once, now one goes up and one goes down. And it makes for a nice landing. Yes, there's a window to the pool in that nonsense art deco sitting room. (You already know I'm not the shop for realism.)

-----

Back to Lara, and this her progress close to aging up to a teen.

14 traits. We can't count "loud" because that's just a phase. She's already shameless.

Teen birthday party, and the birthday girl is a green alien blob again.

That's her party look, because the party was ongoing. She's just cloned a slimify serum, but it made her way too skinny and I couldn't stand it and used cas.fulleditmode to raise her weight slider to half again.

My superest sim, Lara Waugh:

Well, when are you ever going to use the skating outfits if not now, when there's a skating rink in one's own house?

A day after the previous trait picture:

Lara eating more pho, and now she has 20 traits (don't count Gregarious, I removed that) including Spice Hound and Chopstick Savvy on day 1 as a teenager. Nice work Lara. Skill boosting traits are: Top Notch Toddler, Mentally Gifted, Creatively Gifted, Physically Gifted, Socially Gifted, Scouting Aptitude, Quick Learner, Morning Sim, Night Owl, Savant.

*I've seen come comments that Father Winter's Baby also boosts skill gain, but I'm not sure. (I'm also not sure I'd notice the difference.)

And if that's not enough skilling there's also another sim in the household from way back when I last played this house, Jasmine Wolf (light blue alien girl), who can make Snaggle Fluster, and there's a steady supply of CelebuSerum drinks in the mailbox from Lyric's fame.

From left to right: Lyric, Darling, Jasmine, Lara.

That's the household. Those girls should form a band. That should be their album cover. I was hoping Lara would win an award, but she didn't. She made many videos.

-----

So that's my SuperSim, she's a Winterfest Special. This is a long range, multi-generational goal. A Father Winter's Alien is thing you can do. With a ton of planning. I could do (and probably will do, because I'm rather chuffed with Lara!) a part 3 when she ages to YA. She will get all 5 good character traits. She's a top A student already, and junior artiste in drama. The next special trait to get would be at university from e-sports gaming. There are also a few careers that give traits, like doctor and conservationist.

*I since removed the Gregarious trait she shouldn't have had. That was from going into cas.fulleditmode to gain weight while having the celebrity aspiration active.

Many moons ago I posted a question here, asking how to make an alien Father Winter's baby.
I never thought this day would come. Truly a Winterfest miracle!

Thank you for sharing. I'd love if hybrids were possible, but this is a silver lining.
