Quality Ranking

There is a level of quality not mentioned in your guides: foul.  I am not sure where this falls in relation to putrid and horrifying, but I've seen it with food.

You're right, it's missing. Decide where it fits and I'll add it, but I think the whole guide has this propensity to avoid foul things. I try to start players so they'll avoid the foul and create the perfect.

Heh, that's true.  I think the only time I've seen it is when my food replicator spit out a putrid dish and it got left out overnight, which leads me to think foul is below putrid.

I've seen empty plates left overnight go bad then foul, but I've usually got rid of them by this stage so I don't know if they go putrid after that.  Hope this helps.

I have gotten a foul omni plant seed. Don't remember what it turned into when it was planted though.

Foul Omni plant seeds turn into foul Omni plants.  Omni seeds are one of those that no matter what, turns out to be that same quality once planted and grown to maturation.

Oh, I never noticed that. I don't use the omni plants much because having to feed them every day drives me nuts and when the Sim has a lot in inventory it slows down my game. :(
