My Family Tree So Far

I hope I'm posting in the right section for this because I'm a long time lurker, first time poster.
This is a family tree I've been working on so far. I just wanted to share it to maybe see some of ya'lls trees to and converse.

An interesting thing I've found with this tree is the guy on the fourth row, furthest to the right, and the girl on the fourth row, second to furthest to the left. Can date. I was wondering how that can happen? I mean they are cousins, aren't they?

Anyway thanks for reading this and mods feel free to move this if I posted it in the wrong place.

Welcome to the forum  Unfortunately TS4 doesn't really recognize sim family relationships past the 3rd or 4th gen so family members like cousins can end up dating as can great grandparents and the next gen etc.

If they are immediate family it recognises cousins, but that's sort of as far as it goes...

Basically you get your normal, Mother > Father > Kids (Sister, Brother) > Grandpa > Grandma > Niece > Nephew > Uncle > Aunt > Cousin

After that all relationships just go back to the Friends/Good Friends/ Acquaintances sort of thing. Only in the Family Tree panel do you see Great Grandpa or Ancestor.

I've always thought that so weird though, I mean the family tree shows those 'older' relationships so it is possible for them to be in-game surely? idk

@Playalot  you would think so, but I am sort of glad they aren't as a number of the members of my dynasty would have sham marriages and it would be considered incest..

I do wish it would show things like great aunts and uncles and second/third cousins.
