To change the Display type, in game go to to Options > Game Options > Graphics look for Display type and in the drop down window, you can choose between Fullscreen Windowed Fullscreen and Windowed.
Playing in Windowed Fullscreen or Windowed mode will allow you to minimize the screen easier when you need to.
This may be slightly confusing. I created a new Sims 4 folder to test, as I didn't see a Custom Music folder in my current folder.
You may need to create the custom music folder within the Sims 4 folder. As there doesn't appear to be one by default when creating a new one.
Please be aware that if you do create a custom music folder, the music may or may not work due to the Sims 4 folder not having a custom music folder by default.
I wasn't able to find much on adding music to the game, but did find some information on the Wiki site.
The Sims 4 - How to Add Music
http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Game_guide:Adding_custom_musicI may not be able to troubleshoot any problems, as I've never tried adding music to the game.
