My Sims' son had his Imaginary Friend going smoothly, played with it as a toddler and had it grow up with him into an invisible person as a child. I sent him to boarding school, brought him home (didn't have him graduate, just pulled him out), moved the family into a new home, and now suddenly the Imaginary Friend only stays a doll! Even when I let it sit it outside the inventory, it just stays a doll, never becoming an invisible friend again. In his Relationships bar, there's still a picture of the IF in "real" form, with the friendship very high.
I heard that moving houses can cause the child/IF relationship to be erased. Is this true?
If so, how can I fix it? Without setting to a previous version I mean — he had a baby sister born while he was away at boarding school, and I don't want to erase her!
