[BUG] Small appliances, pet food bowls are now vanishing

New issue. Small appliances are now vanishing. A microwave, pet feeder, and ice cream machine vanished.

Yes, I've had a feeding bowl vanish. It's a good idea to do a Repair through Origin. After I did that all these weird glitches stopped occurring. It takes a fair bit of internet juice if you have all the DLC so be aware of that if you are on a measured connection.

Does anyone know if small appliances disappear if you don't have the Cats and Dogs EP??  I don't have it, so will my stuff disappear?

It's unknown at this time, if it affects games that don't have Cats & Dogs.

Here's an interesting tid-bit. Pet food bowls missing after filling it with dog food at the pets park in Brindleton Bay.

I had my Sim fill the dog dish, left to go do something. Came back a few Sim hours later to the bowl missing.

Not only is it happening in residential lots, it's happening in community lots as well.

Things stopped vanishing after I repaired the game. Try that. I still have me pet bowl after hours of play and multiple traveling trips.

Repairing game didn't work for me. In the Answers HQ there it's asked if the players have maid. I don't. I'm kind of wondering though if it didn't really disappear. It may have been thrown away by a different Sim because it was dirty?

Game info: New S4 folder, after patch, New Sim no mods or cc and gallery off.

This is a weird bug. It hasn't happened again for me since I did a repair either.

Without the Cats and Dogs EP, which I don't own, I play-tested, and small appliances don't disappear.  I had Sims that I created travel to a park that I built, and when they returned home 5 Sim hours later, everything was still there .

Running my Vet clinic right? put down two pet feeders. the ones you can set the timer to feed by the hour. Was watching the pet owners come in. One of them walked over to the feeders and "swiped" one of the bowls. LOL I am thinking this Sim had the Kleptomaniac trait. That may be why the bowls are missing and the small appliances. At least I hope. I really don't like bugs or glitches.

No they disappeared while off lot, with no one with the kleptomaniac trait near on lot other than my sim when she returned. It was a bug or glitch. But I have yet to have it repeat after I fixed my game. I hope that was all that was needed and it ism't going to repeat in the future.
