I love Sunset Valley, but I also like Riverview and Bridegeport, I just know everyone in Sunset Valley off the top of my head so I guess I have more of a connection with that town.

Bridgeport is great fun, in my opinion.  It's very different from Sunset Valley and Riverview.  A whole different feel to it.

Yet confusing sometimes, don't you agree? Personally I have still a hard time finding all the functions for the buildings. Not because I don't know how the mapview actually works, but I'm used to towns still, instead of cities XL.
But though, I play Bridgeport the most.

I started out playing in Sunset Valley, and never bothered to move out of it. I've tried Twinbrook and Bridgeport, but find things either too expensive or too unfriendly.

If only there was a way of moving families from one town to another...
There is definitely no plug for either the No Photos Legacy or Room Dynasty here. There's a time and a place for plugs, and this is neither.

There is. When in Edit Town hover your mouse over your familie and take a look at the buttons under in the screen that popups. The fourth from the left says: 'Saves Copy to library'.
From the library you could add that family back in later in another town.

Thanks a million. I never even knew the Edit town could do more than just moving buildings, so that has really helped.

No thanks, glad to help. It's partly why I'm here for. :)
But I must add to this that your sim will do allover with befriending sims. His skills and even the jobs will remain, atleast for the Charismatic skill: the oppertunity 'Making 100 jokes' you will have to redo. I find that out the hard way.

Personally, my favourite town is Riverview. I love the country feel to it and the way everything is split up. The houses in it are amazing and I love all the blank lots as well. The family suburb is fantastic and I greatly enjoy it. My personal favourite place in the Warehouse that has nothing in it yet. I usually turn it into a library/skill house. It's loads of fun.

I voted SV but really there is a pecking order for me.  SV is when I'm feeling lazy and  want to do a challenge FAST because I know it so well.  It is my usual site for practicing my building skills for the same reason.  RV second fastest and easiest.  Toss up between BB which I actually LOVE and TB which I love to "fix" with a nicer, cleaner look to it.  BB is really one of my favorites for just having a good time putting in lots and new buildings that members have built or are from other towns.  I would NEVER put a high rise here because it is so picturesque.  (Reminds me of Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod in general)  I love the whole sea faring aspect of it and the fact that in many ways it's a touristy party town, even without the high rises.  Think, Gulf Coast, Florida and you get that kind of feeling to it as well.  And I LOVE developing that large, outer island!  (All it takes is putting a subway there and on the mainland to be able to reach it and use it!)    After several initial tries, I NEVER play Bridgeport.  I may get back to it someday but it so offends me in its filthy look that I just get annoyed and grumpy playing it.  So for just for fun and giggles it's BB, for ease it' SV/RV, when I want to change the world it's TB.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!
