Game not loading after launcher

I've never had any problems with The Sims 3, so I don't know what to do.

When I go and launch the game (from the launcher), the game would pop up but it would just remain blacked out, I don't know why it's done this. I've tried pretty much everything -

Reset the game to it's factory settings
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game

And nothing works!!!

Everyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

It sounds like the game may be crashing

But, I've now ran into another problem.

I moved the sims folder from the SSD to the HDD, and accidentally permanently deleted the folder, and now when I try to install the stuff packs that I purchased from Origin, it says this -

"Origin was denied access to the following file or folder: D:/\.

This may be due to security restrictions or disk corruption. Check the folder permissions or check your disk for errors before retrying the download."

Do you know what I could do to fix this?

It looks like you may not have "permission" to install Sims 3 on your D drive. You have to make sure you're running Origin with Administrator access to be able to have permission.

How to do that is Right-Click on the Origin icon and select Run as Administrator.

You may have to enter a password to be able to do this. Also you may want to create a Games folder to install the Sims 3 in. You can call it Games or whatever you'd like.

If this doesn't work, Go ahead and make a report using your Origin account.
