Thoughts about family

Hey guys

Okay, I realize that I may be a little uptight about this, but I find the frequency that my Sim thinks about their family members to be slightly exaggerated. Also, they apparently only think about the grown up ones which seems weird. Like now that my Sim has adult children, he is suddenly aware of their existence

Don't look forward to him thinking about...ahem...twenty offspring several times a day. I'm already thinking about packing them up in households and saving them to the gallery and then rid the world of them, or moving my Sims to a fresh world - if it comes to that

Do they have the Family Oriented trait?

Nope. Don doesn't have that. I'm fairly sure that 'thinking about family member' came with the Parenting GP.

I can see how thinking about loads of family members would be annoying. It's kinda cute when it is just their spouse they think of though.

Oh, my married couple never think of each other - epic fail
I want to experience the cute side of this, too...or perhaps only lady Sims warrant a loving thought from their spouse?
Now, I'm a little miffed.

My sims most often think about their dead parents, which I think is kind of sweet. But it does make some actions take way longer than necessary!
