"Faster" Forward Not Working *FIXED*

"Faster" forward - when my Sims are sleeping or at work - isn't functioning! I can toggle between Pause, Normal Speed, Kinda-Fast Speed, and Fast Forward, but when it comes to sleepy time and when my Sim is at work it will not super speed through it!

Welcome to the forum.  If there are NPC sims or townies, service sims (postperson etc) on your sims lot the super fast speed forward will not work. Maybe this is the issue?

My sim does live in an apartment and there are neighbors hanging around in the hall. I'll try resetting them.
Otherwise, my sim lives by herself and no one has a key to allow any unwanted sims on the premises.
At a loss.

It has been reported that ultraspeed isn't working during a festival in your neighborhood, even if your Sim is sleeping at home.

There's also a bug report on ultra speed not working when your Sims are living in an Apartment

Something to try:

When trying to use ultra speed, try pressing speed level 2 first, then after a little while try progressing to speed level 3.

Thanks for the bug note! There is a festival going on, so that is probably the main culprit.

Just for the sake of the update: the neighbor sim finally became unstuck when I evicted the household and placed it back. The normal "resetsim firstname lastname" cheat did not make the sim unstuck. This also did not assist in the super-ultra speed issue.

**Edit** My game fixed itself! My welcome wagon never happened when I first started playing this sim. After re-moving in the sim's neighbors, the welcome wagon activated. My sim was at work, so I cancelled the social action. Once cancelled super-ultra speed came on!!!
