My sim won't eat cowplant cake!

For some reason one of my sims in my household refuses to eat the cowplant cake. He is an adult, and the cowplant is hungry (his tongue is sticking out) and my sim is really hungry, but when I click on the cowplant, there is no "eat cake" option. All of the other sims in my household have the "eat cake" option, but not him. What do I do?

Was the sim in question a townie that you added to your household?

None of my sims have the "eat cake" option and I have no idea why.

Welcome to the forum @Glader01    First check that it isn't mods causing the issue, so take any you have out and test in a new game. You could also try taking control of another household and let them visit the lot to see if they can eat the cake. You could try saving all the items, house and sims to your library and starting a new game with them all, or moving the household to a new lot within the same game etc.

Loads of things you could try and the more information you can give us on what is happening and what you have already tried the better we can suggest something to help.
