« on: June 04, 2017, 02:34:59 PM »
This is going to sound really really stupid, but like most newbies to creative content i have followed the most things like 1. making sure that both enable creative content and the script boxes are ticked 2. download and place the downloaded files into the mod folders.. but whenever i go onto the sims 4 the box telling me its on there pops up and it comes up on my sims 4 create a sim but whenever i do I get black boxes on my sim with big black question marks.. no matter what i download on hairs it's always the same.. can someone please help.

It's bad custom content. All you can do is remove it until the creator fixes it.

Actually what that is, some hairs, you have to download a mesh separately.  Most all hairs, the mesh is included, but I have found if I don't read the description first, that is usually what happens to me too.  If the mesh is separate, I just don't download the hair. I have 3 or 4 like you described, in my hairs and they all came from a very good modder.
