I Deleted My Saves Folder Contents (Mac)
« on: June 11, 2017, 12:23:32 AM »
Ok I need some serious helps right now.So recently I accidentally deleted all the contents in my sims 3 "Saves" folder.I deleted it through CleanMyMac because of confusion. It doesn't need much explaining.

I've tried everything from downloading multiple softwares to recover lost data to searching for any answers on Google. What I'm basically asking for is for the most technical person to help me get my data back. Is there any way for sims to make some yearly backup folder or something? Time machine doesn't work as it stopped in 2015, I loaded that and that brought old data that is frustrating me because I'll have to redo hours of work. I did have a copy of my saves folder that I threw away in my trash can because well, I'm stupid and thought I didn't need it.

Even if I were to get that copy folder back its old (idk how old it could be from 2015/2016). I've tried to deal with the 2015 backup but I can't just redo all those countless hours and be satisfied with the results. I really need some help, I couldn't find any so far but maybe some tech geek can really help me on this.

Games can't do a yearly backup on their own. You'll have to manually set something up in your operating system or find a 3rd party program that takes the place of the Time Machine.

I have pmed someone that may be able to help with Macs, but if they're not able to respond within a few days or so, you may need to see if you can contact Bluebellflora, as she uses Mac and plays Sims 3.
