So I have done this mission so many times and never had it end successfully. This morning I finally completed it successfully and got the dog! Here are the steps I took for anyone, like me, nearly a year later who still hasn't got the dog! I've underlined the choices I made.

•Search Cages - You've got the dog. (Just a message to click 'ok' on)
•Find Exit -

Then my sim travelled home. Note, the reward for completing the mission successfully is not a dog. lol

That's great! Although I'm pretty sure I've chosen the injection and not succeeded. Still, it's good to know that this one can have a good outcome.

I followed this and still failed the mission.

After the injection I searched the first 69 floors, got exhausted and passed out. Awoke to find the pound empty.

Well, poo! I clicked on this thread thinking that @Playaot had written a new space adventure! LOL

Thank you for sharing! Considering how long and elusive this mission is, its reward is sadly forgettable. C'mon, game, we should get a U.F.O. fruit, at least!

OMG this is way back from 2015!! lol. Sometimes the space missions fail anyway to be honest. I actually went through and plotted the 'right' answer for all of them back then. More time than sense obviously.
