Saving Sims and putting them into new games

Hey everyone! Long time since I have been on the forum!! I just had a question for everyone. I have two sims from two different games that I have created and leveled their skills and careers etc. I now want them to be in a new game together but I don't want to start from scratch, I want them to keep their skills and career.

Is there a way to do this and bring them into a new game? I can't remember if there is, and I am getting back into the sims universe again so I apologize if this has been asked and answered before or if I am in the wrong section of the fourm.

Ill keep looking around to find an answer but if anyone could help me that would be great.

If they're in your library, then when you start a new game, go to the Gallery and then your library and pull them in. They should have their skills. I'm not sure about career levels, and the last time I tried this, there was a problem with aspiration traits.
