Accidentally didn't give teen second trait when aged up

Oops. I was so excited to see my new teens (I have twins!) that I skipped giving him his second trait by accident. I wouldn't care except I'm doing a self imposed challenge involving aspirations and traits are very important. I thought if I when to "change sim" I could add one but that's not the case. I don't have any mods or add one besides the holiday pack (noob I know). Is there anyway to get my teen his second trait without mods? I'm sorry if this is a very obvious problem to solve, I'm new to the sims. Thanks for any help.

Hello @Stardust505  and welcome to the forum! There are no obvious questions here, so feel free to ask whatever you like. To add the trait you need, you will have to 'cheat' a bit (no mods, don't worry)
You will need press CTR+SHIFT+C to bring console up. (will be a white box that will appear in the top left corner of the screen)
Enter testingcheats true. (exactly as written)
Enter cas.fulleditmode (this enables you to make full edits, like when you start a new game)
Now click on a sim while holding the shift key down. You should get an Edit in CAS option.
Click that option and you're ready to edit your sim.

A less buggy way to add traits in is the cheat "trait.equip_trait [trait name]" which requires testing cheats on, as KTK's method has a glitch where it retains the previous trait's moodlets such as Geek's "Needs Video Games" or Clumsy's "Silly me!". Note that the trait name in the cheat is sometimes different than listed in the trait options of CAS.
