Age away serum doesn't seem to work on vampire

Hi my vamp sim is a scientist. Finally he reached up to level 10 and was able to mix age away serum. I let him drink it but nothing happened. Is it working for only human sims? Actually, he had reset his age by potion of youth but suddenly, his age bar is fully filled as soon as he turned into a vamp. Would it be an age bar bug or something else? Should I use potion of youth again?

Aging is turned off for vampires and their lives begin to be counted in days so I guess that is why the potions do not work on them.  Also did you know that both those potions only reset the age of a normal sim back to the beginning of whatever age-stage they are currently in?

I'm pretty sure that the bubbling age bar means that he has stopped ageing.
One of my vampires turned two vampires and their age bars look just like that.
And, you may recall that the age bar looks like that (green and bubbly) when a sim is pregnant.

@oshizu Thanks for the information. It looked slightly different to normal sims' aging bar, I didn't notice there were tiny bubbles in it. I activated aging and saw it's completely stopped. Thank you.
