Vampire pack bug?

I tried to get my vampire to research on the computer about vampires and when he acts like hes going to sit, it seems like he resets himself back to standing at the chair and the task goes away.

If ever you couldn't place something and had to place it with moveobjects on, it can prevent the sim from using the object. Not always, but sometimes.
Are there similar issues with other interactions with the computer ?

If a sim is reading a book at the computer, they will place the book down on top of the keyboard, preventing use of the computer.

Also sometime the computer need resetting. I have seen it when another sim, even an NPC had it on que and it wouldn't let my sim use it tell I reset the darn thing.
