Physical Copy vs. Digital Download?

Hi!
So I have the digital copy of The Sims 4, but it's awfully slow. I can't turn the graphics up any higher than low-medium without the game being pretty much unplayable. My question is, if I buy the physical copy, will my game run any better? I understand that it will probably still have to download, but I was wondering if it would run any better/smoother (especially with the graphics turned up). I've bought the digital download TWICE on two different computers, and it ran horribly on both. Please help! Thank you in advance!

Since about 2015, maybe early 2016 it doesn't matter if you get a physical copy of Sims 4 or not it all is digital download and is the same game either way. And goes through the Origin client.

So no, it would be the same gaming experience either way.
