Missing Baby!! *Work-arounds*

I am currently starting the 100 baby challenge. the first one was born and the second was on the way. when I got the message that it was his birthday I went to age him up, However, the action did not complete and it disappeared for her line up. So I clicked age up again and the action stopped half way and the baby disappeared. I tried to reset it but it says that the sim does not exist. If anyone can explain it.

I am not sure exactly what happened other than some kind of game glitch. Are you allowed to go back to a previous save?

omg, it worked!! thank you so much. I was able to reload the game file and the baby was back. I was really worried. Thank you

I just had this happen too. I saved and reloaded and it reappeared, so if it happens to anyone else you may not have to go back to a previous save.

This happened to me as well and I found that if I travelled to a different neighbourhood and then came  back, I got to age up the baby again... but this time it worked. Might be quicker than quitting and reloading too..

This happened to me as well, had to travel somewhere to re-appear the baby and then move the bassinet so it'd work.

As a result, the relationship panels have a slight bug; to all the household except for one man, the three children all display the trait they had as a toddler (the one exception is the first child to the exception sim, which displays Self-Assured correctly).
