A nar in Egypt
« on: December 03, 2010, 07:38:37 PM »
Today I saw my sim Max has a wish to call some guy from Egypt. I was about to let him than I notice this dude was waring a very strange hat. Like that from a nar (I hope that is English), a sort of clown from the medieval timeperiod. Those where the only men who may make fun of the king. That was in fact their job actually.
Any way, I am inviting this man over, to see what he is up to. Maybe it is some kind of hidden job, or profession or so?
Can this be some kind of the old fashion magicians some people here has seen in Sunset Valley back in the beginning of The Sims 3?

I am adding this guy to the family, for a moment, to see if my sim can wear the same clothes. I believe that is possible: clothes taken from another time period from my time traveler will be compatible with the other family members too, so why not this?

I don't know what a nar is.  Do you have a screenshot of this guy you can post?

I could not get the entire thing from a screenshot from the store, but is this it?

If it is, that is a free hair with accessories from the Sims 3 store.  I have had townie Sims look ridiculous with crazy hair choices with official content that I have downloaded.  If I get a chance to turn on my game tonight I will try to get a better picture.

The Dutch word "nar" means jester or clown.

Ha, Illu is back in town. Great! :) But your guys are right, it is the jester (I keep thinking joker) from the store. Simply forgot I had that in the game.

Jester, joker, and fool are all words that might descibe the hat. It's always funny to see that hat when you don't expect it.
