Skin tone genetics?
« on: January 21, 2017, 02:46:43 PM »
Hey all. Just had a quick question, to see if anyone else has noticed this.

I find that when two of my sims with different skin tones have children, they seem to have a baby with the lightest possible skin or the darkest possible, regardless of the skin tone of their parents. It's hardly a problem for a baby to have dark or light skin, it's not like I care that much, but it seems strange that they don't get one of their parents' skin tones or at least a halfway point rather than one that is totally random.

Not sure what's causing that, if it's one of my mods or what, but I wanted to see if any of you have had this happen.

Welcome to the forum Grier  :)

To be honest the baby skin tones don't usually make much sense. I've had a baby with the darkest skin tone from 2 very light skin-toned parents that then aged up to be a medium skin tone.
