Toddler food tip
« on: January 15, 2017, 10:00:54 AM »
Since I now have a toddler, I have to warn you guys:

Chopstick and Spicy related foods are out of the question!

Yes, they will just throw the food off the high chair and stain it. Anything else is fine though.

That's good to know.

Another way I've found easy when you have multiple toddlers to keep fed is to bypass the high chairs altogether. They can grab a meal from a group serving left on a counter or table. You don't have to go back and let the toddlers out when they are done eating or clean dirty high chairs. You just have to clean up the plates.

You can also place a serving on the highchair then pop the toddler in and direct the toddler to eat it. That makes serving home cooked meals quick and easy if you want the better moodlets and still use the highchair...because...cute!

That is good to know, but also makes me sad. My daughter loooooooved spicy foods as a toddler. This was even back when doctors suggested bland foods as a way of avoiding allergies. She had her own ideas, and now thinking has changed on that anyway.

I did find out about the counter. My game toddler seems to have a thing for pancakes.

One of my in game toddler twins threw a peanut butter and jelly off the highchair!! I had to swap her out a ham and cheese and she did just fine. But then she's got the fussy trait--so maybe she just felt like being difficult! lol

@mousey I love the fussy trait, those toddlers can throw a fit on demand. It's gorgeous!
