Hired help doesn't show

Hello everyone

Whenever I have a party or hire someone, via fridge (caterer [which the option isn't there anymore]) or mixologist via bar or entertainer, the simoleons come out of my total but no one shows up. The option says that there are on my lot but no one is there. Same with the planning a party menu. I hire them and no one shows even though I am charged

Please help.
